1 in 4 companies say their culture never fully recovered from layoffs

25% SAY CULTURE HASN'T RECOVERED

Careerminds surveyed 600 HR leaders in May 2026 and found trust in senior leadership fell 18.4% immediately after a layoff and is still down 10.3% months later. Among the companies that did recover, it took 7.2 months on average to get back to where they started.
