63% of Executives Say They Rely on Data More Than Ever. Only 43% Say Decisions Are Actually Faster or Clearer.

43% SAY DECISIONS ARE FASTER OR CLEARER DESPITE MORE DATA

KPMG’s 2026 Adaptability Index found 63% of executives report leaning on data and analytics more than ever, yet only 43% say their decisions are actually happening faster or with more clarity as a result. More data was supposed to mean better calls. For most leaders, it’s just meant more inputs to sort through before making the same call, slower.
