46% OF FAMILY BUSINESSES CALL THEIR SUCCESSION PLAN WELL-DEVELOPED

Deloitte Private’s 2026 global survey found 82% of family businesses report having some form of succession plan, but only 46% describe it as broad and well-developed. Having a plan and being ready to execute it turn out to be two very different claims.
