Betterworks’ 2026 State of Performance Enablement Report, surveying 2,387 HR leaders, managers, and employees, found a 41-point gap between executive confidence in AI (92%) and employee readiness (51%). Only 8% of employees say their company has actually communicated a clear AI vision. The rollout isn’t failing on technology. It’s failing on communication.
