Companies Passing Tariff Costs to Customers Jumped From 13% to 34% in Nine Months

34% OF ORGANIZATIONS NOW PASS MOST TARIFF COSTS TO CUSTOMERS

KPMG’s 2026 Tariff Survey found the share of organizations passing more than half of tariff-related costs on to customers rose from 13% in May 2025 to 34% by February 2026, and 55% of executives plan additional price increases of up to 15% within six months. Absorbing the cost quietly is over. Now it shows up on the invoice.
